church premises on September 12, 2014. as the Lagos State Government on Thursday insist the Registered Trustees of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) must be charge.
The state government added that the verdict of a Coroner’s Court set up to investigate the cause and circumstance that culminated in the death
of 116 persons in the collapsed six-storey building should be adopted and upheld.
The state Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Kazeem Adeniji, in a statement yesterday, provided reasons to prosecute those who were indicted by the Coroner’s Court, over which Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe presided.
In its verdict delivered on July 8, 2015, the Coroner’s Court had recommended the Registered Trustees of SCOAN where Prophet Temitope B. Joshua is the Senior Pastor; Mr. Oladele Ogundeji and Mr. Akinbela Fatiregun, both of whom are the church engineers for trial.
