Turkey pulled out of Italian-facilitated Libya emergency chats on Tuesday after it was not welcomed to a gathering of key players on the meeting sidelines, saying it was "profoundly disillusioned".
"Any gathering which bars Turkey would turn out to be counter-beneficial for the arrangement of this issue," Turkish Vice-President Fuat Oktay said in an announcement.
"The casual gathering held at the beginning of today with various players and having them displayed as the unmistakable heroes of the Mediterranean is an extremely deceptive and harming approach which we energetically restrict," Oktay said.
Eastern Libyan strongman Khalifa Haftar joined a few other key national and universal players for chats on the sidelines of the Palermo gathering went for balancing out the emergency stricken North African country.
The Haftar camp routinely blames Turkey and Qatar for militarily and monetarily backing his adversaries, including Islamists.
