3 Men Were Arrested For Being In Possession Of Four Live Cartridges

3 men — Ahmed Fatai, Olashile Bajulaye, Tajudeen Abubakar — were arraigned in municipality on weekday for being in possession of four live cartridges.

The trio – Fatai (20), Bajulaye (23) associate degreed Abubakar (21) – face two counts of conspiracy ANd being in unlawful possession of ammunition before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court in municipality.

The official, Sgt. Godwin Awase, told the court that the suspect committed the offences on Gregorian calendar month twenty at CMS dock, Lagos.

“The suspect had in their possession cartridges whereas not valid license issued by academic degree acceptable authority.

“Following a tip-off, policemen stormed their hideaway and on observance the policemen, the suspect took to their heels.

“Three were inactive with the cartridges whereas their leader World Health Organization was in possession of their gun loose,” the official aforesaid.

The offences contravened Sections 330 and 411 of the code of municipality State, 2015.

The news organisation of land reports that Section 330 stipulates seven years imprisonment for being in possession of firearms whereas Section 411 prescribes two years for conspiracy.

The suspect, World Health Organization were residents of Ajah, Lagos, pleaded inculpable.

The official, Mr. F.F George, granted the suspect N100,000 bail each with two sureties each in like total.

George aforesaid that the sureties got to be gainfully used and show proof of two years tax payment to the municipality authorities.

The case was adjourned until Sep 10 for mention.
