More than fifty homes were destroyed in Dakingari city in Suru government space of Kebbi State on weekday night by a significant pelter.
The wire service of Federal Republic of Nigeria reports that the late hour rain rendered many folks homeless within the city.
Alhaji Rabiu Bantoid language, the manager Director of the State Emergency Management Agency, told NAN in Birnin Kebbi on weekday that no death was recorded thus far.
So far, we've got not recorded any death, however over fifty homes were destroyed by the late night rain,’’ he said.
According to Bantoid language, officers from the agency have visited the affected space to assess the harm done by the rain.
“We area unit collating knowledge to report back to the government for attainable help to the victims,’’ he said.
Kamba warned residents against victimisation contaminated water from their wells because the wells had been contaminated by the flood.
“We can report things to the state ministry of health for prompt action and necessary measures,’’ he said.
