The police on Thursday summoned a 32-year-old phony minister for supposedly assaulting a lady in an Ikeja Chief Magistrates' Court.
The blamed, Micheal Akpan, who dwells at 17, Unity Close, Obawole, Iju, a suburb of Lagos is accused of assault.
The Prosecutor, Insp Raji Akeem told the court that the offense was conferred on August 17 at the denounced's living arrangement.
Raji said that the denounced claimed to be a minister(Pastor) and told the complainant, a 29-year-old, who was en route to work, that he had forces to convey her from evil persecution.
He told the court that the blamed advised the complainant to purchase seven containers of olive oil for deliverance and furthermore advised her to meet him in his home soon thereafter.
On getting to the house, he stated, he charged close the entryway at her and assaulted (rep)her.
Raji included that the complainant revealed the case at the police headquarters and the denounced was captured.
The offense, he said negated Section 260 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
The denounced, nonetheless, argued not liable to the charges.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Jadesola Adeyemi - Ajayi, conceded the blamed to safeguard in the entirety for N200,000 with two sureties in like aggregate.
Adeyemi - Ajayi who likewise requested the denounced to pay extra N20,000 as a major aspect of the safeguard condition, dismissed the case until October 10 for specify.
