Varsity Student Poisoned Self After Stabbing Lover

An undergraduate student of Imo State University, Owerri has allegedly committed suicide after a fight with her lover.

The deceased, known as Jennifer Agomuo, 28, allegedly
poisoned herself after stabbing her lover, identified as Johnson, over unrevealed issue.

Elenxblog gathered that the tragedy  occurred in one of the hostels within the Aladinma Alliance area of the college on Wedneday .

It was gathered that Jennifer, a 3rd year student of the Department of engineering science of the varsity, was frightened after stabbing her lover and thinking that he had died from the injury.

However, the boyfriend who was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Owerri, survived the attack.

Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer of the university, Obi Njoku, said the University received the news with shock.

The school representative added  that the institution would investigate to find out what truly happened.

Efforts to get the reaction of the Police Public Relations Officer in the state metropolis, Orlando Ikeokwu, weren't fruitful.
