Police Slaughters Companion During Sallah Festivity In Ogun

A gathering sorted out on Thursday to stamp Sallah festivities at Transformer Bus Stop, Adiyan, in Ogun State turned wicked when a trigger-cheerful policeman,
distinguished basically as Ola SARS, shot his companion dead.

we learnt that the casualty, one 36-year-old Ayinde otherwise known as Aye, and the policeman were welcome to the gathering by the adolescent pioneer of the network prevalently known as Azeez Terror.

The gathering was apparently sorted out by Azeez Terror's dad, who is a land specialist.

Our journalist accumulated that all was well at the get-together until around 7pm when Ola SARS, who is apparently serving in Abuja, began getting into mischief affected by liquor.

He was said to have shot into the air irregularly and declined to respect alerts by different visitors. He needed to pull the trick again when a projectile struck Ayinde in the chest.

In the following disarray, it was learnt that Azeez Terror, his dad and the policeman fled the scene while the dad of two was raced to a healing facility, where he kicked the bucket.

An occupant, who gave his name just as Bidemi, told our journalist on Friday that a few young people of the network organized a dissent which caused commotion in the area, including that it took the intercession of the police to reestablish regularity.

He stated, "It was Azeez Terror's dad that sorted out the gathering to observe Sallah. It is a yearly occasion.

The adolescent pioneer welcomed his companions including Ola SARS and Ayinde.

I learnt Ola SARS works in Abuja. The gathering started toward the evening and there was no issue until around 7pm.

"He began shooting into the air after he ended up alcoholic. No one incited him. As he needed to discharge another shot into the air, he fizzled and shot Ayinde in the chest.

He drained plentifully and was raced to the healing center. He kicked the bucket in the blink of an eye subsequently.

"As I talk with you, Azeez Terror, his dad and the executioner policeman are still on the loose. It was extremely tragic.

The perished was a domain operator and had two children. His significant other has been sad since yesterday (Thursday)."

Another occupant, Solomon Babatunde, said he was on a visit at FESTAC Town when a neighbor called him on the phone and educated him about the emergency.

He approached the police experts to angle out the executioner cop and convey him to equity.

Babatunde stated, "Oloriodo's (the adolescent leader's) father held a gathering on Thursday to stamp Sallah. He welcomed his police companions to the gathering.

I learnt that while the gathering was on, one of the policemen began shooting and a projectile hit Aye (Ayinde) in the chest.

"Azeez and his dad fled the network. I was told wherever was tense because of the dissent. I needed to pass the night at FESTAC Town where I went to."

The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, affirmed the occurrence, including that the order had propelled a manhunt for the suspect.
